Cali celebrated her first Fourth of July! Although she was completely unaware of the festive holiday, she seemed to enjoy herself most of the day. We began the day with breakfast at the Bishop's house, followed by a local parade. Fortunately for the wives, all the husbands got off work early to take us to a Rangers game! We had a blast, but it will definitely be a first and a last for us. A baseball game in July is insanely hot. After walking from our car to the game, my clothes were soaked in sweat. I know...gross, but it's the truth. I could hardly stand it. I tried as hard as could to not complain a word about it to Casey. How could I?! He lives in this everyday of the summer. I said to him, "now I know how you feel everyday!" His reply, "you have no idea!" Oops, I guess my five minute walk in the sun doesn't really compare:/

What a great 4th of July! There is seriously nothing like Texas heat. I remember last summer walking from my car into a store and just sweating. I always had the same thought...sometimes I don't know how the guys do it!

And I remember Texas 4th of July's. HOT HOT and more HOT! Kind of like Florida. You should try California. Still hot, but not humid. So it's better.

i wonder the same thing- HOW do the guys do it???? the heat that night was especially bad huh! ... The kids sure all looked cute before we had to strip them down so they didn't get heat stroke!!! i love the bottom pic of cali and case- so cute!
I knew of their family...My dad cuts her families hair, not sure if he ever cut her hair but i am pretty sure her mom maybe even her... My dad is Bryan Vohs. :)
